The Sydney Taylor Book Award Committee has chosen The Golem's Latkes as a Notable book for 2011

It is a pleasure to announce that The Golem’s Latkes, written by Eric A. Kimmel and illustrated by Aaron Jasinski, has been chosen by The Sydney Taylor Book Award Committee as a Notable book in the Younger Readers Category for 2011.

The Sydney Taylor Book Award honors new books for children and teens that exemplify the highest literary standards while authentically portraying the Jewish experience.The award memorializes Sydney Taylor, author of the classic  All-of-a-Kind Family  series and is presented annually by the Association of Jewish Libraries.
