About the Series
Discovering Dinosaurs introduces young readers to the exciting world of paleontology. Each book focuses on a different dinosaur and provides scientific evidence of its probable physical features, diet, habitat, life cycle, and scientific hypotheses as to how and why the dinosaur became extinct.

Each book tells the tale by using simple, easy-to-understand language, as well as illustrations and photographs of fossil remains. Students will learn how paleontologists use fossils to classify dinosaurs and how they are able to "read" the fossils to find out how prehistoric species used to live. Each book also includes a quick quiz to test the reader’s knowledge.
