About
the Series
This series looks at how global warming affects
the climate of the four different regions of the world: the Arctic, the
Antarctic, the tropics, and the temperate zones. Each book presents case studies
of the effects on the natural and human world, including animals, plants,
natural, and human-made environments. Each book opens with an introduction on
the greenhouse effect and global warming. The books include tables, profiles, a
climate zone map, and a global warming diagram. Text in spreads makes the titles
simple enough for the young reader, but complex enough to aid students with
their reports.
